Introduction

There are two types of Virtualization in OS:

  2. Linux Operating System Virtualization – You have to install VMware software in the first place for installing any software. OS Virtualization requires installing VMware software in the first place to virtualize the Linux Operating System as well.

Also, OS Virtualization in cloud computing works via two virtual disks. Therefore, the client will be able to connect to that disk through the network. 

  1. Shared Disk – Multiple companies/ clients can use the shared disk at a time. The change created by the companies applies separately and clears the cache. Other clients’ settings will not be affected after the restarting of this system. The system sets as default after the restarting process. 
  2. Private Disk – A single company/client can use a private Disk. The client/ company stores the information that is based on assigned capacity.             

4) Advantages of OS Virtualization:

The advantages of virtualization in the operating system are as follows: 

  1. Traditional Deploy in Traditional Experience in each computer takes more time to load separately. Compared to the traditional system, OS Virtualization can be deployed quickly in seconds. 
  2. Operating System Virtualization saves money and time as it doesn’t require more maintenance due to the non-requirement of any hardware. 
  3. Operating System Virtualization is a space-saver system too. It doesn’t need the physical space used by the IT system because every instance of this system is virtual. 
  4. Operating System Virtualization helps companies to get better Return on Investment on the purchase. Because Companies use server hardware with great efficiency. Also, Companies enhance their operational works.
  5. In OS Virtualization, fewer machines mean low maintenance, less power, more electrical saving, and less requirement of cooling systems.

  7. The server hardware can be merged by using this virtualization by the system administrator. This can be processed by moving the resource to an individual host combined with two containers.

  1. Operating System Virtualization supports only a single operating system for the guest OS and as the base in the single server. The client can use a single OS, either Linux or Windows. 
  2. The container should have the same OS version and the same patch level as the base OS.
  3. If the base OS crashes, all virtual containers become unavailable inaccessible. 

Conclusion

In this mode of virtualization, the OS can lock up materials. Hence, such material doesn’t see in the calculation results when the computer reads the program. 

The program can be run in containers in which only a fraction of these materials have been assigned. Some containers may introduce a single operating system that included a variant of computer resources that have been assigned.
